Yes. Notify a Customer Service Agent in the gate area prior to boarding of your needs, then wait for preboarding to begin.
A small wheelchair that can fit down the aircraft aisle is available at every gate and can be used for the lift and transfer. Each gate is also equipped with a Passenger Transfer Kit (PTK), containing a slide board and a transfer sling. We encourage you to direct whoever is assisting you as to how to best help lift and transfer you and your equipment.
If you need a seat with a movable aisle armrest to better facilitate a lift and transfer, the location of movable aisle armrests can be found on our seat specifications page. Learn more about requesting a specific seat to accommodate your disability.
Flight Attendants do not provide lift/transfer assistance onboard. However, assistance to and from the lavatory (but not inside the lavatory) during the flight is available using an onboard wheelchair. Please inform a Flight Attendant if you need assistance.
