If you plan to check bags, you will need to arrive in time to meet the deadline to check bags, which is at least 45 minutes before your flight’s original scheduled departure time on domestic flights (90 minutes for flights departing St. Thomas), and at least 60 minutes before your flight’s original scheduled departure time on international flights (75 minutes for flights departing Aruba).

Note: Regardless of whether or not you check a bag, the deadline for domestic check-in is 30 minutes before your flight’s original scheduled departure time, and the deadline for international check-in is 60 minutes (or 75 minutes for Aruba). If you attempt to check in after these cut-off times (such as 25 minutes before your flight’s original scheduled departure time), then you will need to be rebooked on the next available flight.  Additionally, all Passengers must obtain their boarding passes and be in the gate area available for boarding at least 10 minutes prior to your flight's original scheduled departure time. If not, Southwest® may cancel your reservation.
