  • Archery equipment, including a bow, arrows, and an average size target (large target stands cannot be accepted) are accepted as checked baggage.
  • The bow and arrows must be in a container capable of withstanding normal baggage handling without sustaining damage to the equipment and acceptable to Southwest®.
  • Average-size targets will be transported only with a limited release of liability. Customers are not eligible for reimbursement or compensation for any damage that occurs in situations where a limited release of liability applies.
  • Archery equipment over 100 pounds in weight and/or 115 inches in total dimensions cannot be checked as baggage.
  • Standard checked bag fees and overweight bag fees apply to archery equipment.
  • Oversize fees are waived.
