Southwest accepts Klarna for eligible purchases when Klarna is presented as an available payment option at checkout in the Southwest® app. Klarna payment options are offered and administered by Klarna. Eligibility, approval, payment terms, and financing options are determined solely by Klarna.

Klarna gives eligible Customers more choice in how they pay for travel, including options that may allow Customers to:

• Pay in Full: pay in full using Klarna, where available
• Pay in 4: split the cost into four interest-free payments (subject to availability, eligibility, Klarna approval, and Klarna terms)
• Financing: finance a purchase over time (subject to availability, eligibility, Klarna approval, and Klarna terms)

Klarna can be combined with:

• Southwest gift cards
• Southwest LUV Vouchers
• Flight credits and Transferable Flight Credits®

Klarna purchases cannot be combined with a credit card.

Using Klarna

If Klarna is available for your purchase:

• Select Klarna as your payment method and follow the prompts to review the payment options.
• Klarna may request information needed to determine eligibility and complete your purchase.

Klarna may not appear for every purchase.

• Availability may depend on factors such as purchase type, purchase amount, booking channel, eligibility, and Klarna approval.
• Not all Klarna payment options will be available to all Customers for all purchases.
• Not every Customer or purchase will be eligible for Klarna.

Once your Southwest® booking is confirmed, you will manage your payment arrangements through Klarna. Klarna will provide payment details, reminders, and support through the Klarna app or Klarna.com.

What happens if I cancel a reservation purchased with Klarna?

Refundable fares

Your refund will be processed to the original form of payment. Review information about method of payment refunds

Nonrefundable fares

• Your Klarna loan remains your responsibility and must be repaid according to your loan agreement.
• You will receive a flight credit or Transferable Flight Credit® (depending on the fare purchased).
