  • Life rafts are accepted as checked baggage.
  • Cartridges associated with a self-inflating life raft must be removed and are not allowed on board in checked or carryon baggage.
  • Life rafts will be transported only with a limited release of liability. Customers are not eligible for reimbursement or compensation for any damage that occurs in situations where a limited release of liability applies.
  • Life rafts over 100 pounds in weight and/or 115 inches in total dimensions cannot be checked as baggage.
  • Standard checked bag fees and overweight bag fees apply to life rafts.
  • Oversize fees are waived.
