Your seat assignment may change for a few reasons. For example:
- We rebooked you on a new flight because of a flight disruption.
- A change to the scheduled aircraft (i.e., an aircraft swap) resulted in a different cabin layout.
When reseating Customers after a disruption or aircraft change, we aren't always able to reseat Customers in the same seat they were originally assigned.
Seats purchased separately from your fare
If you purchased a seat separately from your fare and we make a change that results in your seat assignment moving from a higher seat category (e.g., Extra Legroom) to a lower seat category (e.g., Standard), we will refund the full amount of your original seat purchase to your original form of payment. Any seat assignment that was part of your fare benefit is not eligible for a refund. Learn more about our refund and exchange policy for seats purchased separately.
