When booking a Southwest Airlines^® flight or Getaways by Southwest^® vacation package, you’ll have the option to purchase a travel insurance plan through Travel Guard^®. Travel Guard insurance plans are not available to residents of New York.

If you purchased a travel insurance plan:

• For information regarding your travel insurance plan including your plan number, please reference the confirmation email sent by Travel Guard.
• If you have questions or would like to make a claim on your travel insurance plan, please contact Travel Guard’s World Travel Service Center at 1-800-533-4305 or use the links above.
• If you have made any modifications to your flight or vacation booking, please contact Travel Guard at 1-800-533-4305 to ensure your travel insurance plan reflects the modifications to your flight or vacation booking.  You may also use the links above to modify your travel insurance plan.
• If you have canceled your flight or your entire vacation booking you may be eligible for a premium refund from Travel Guard, subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, if you are within the 15-day grace period from the date of purchase. You are solely responsible for requesting a premium refund from Travel Guard by calling 1-800-533-4305 or by going to Travel Guard Cancellation Request. Southwest Airlines^® and Getaways by Southwest^® cannot refund your travel insurance plan.
