I need more info about the travel insurance plan for my Getaways by Southwest® package

Booking

When booking a Getaways by Southwest® package, you’ll have the option to purchase a travel insurance plan through Travel Guard®. Travel Guard insurance plans are not available to residents of New York.

If you haven’t purchased a travel insurance plan:

  • Call 1-800-533-4305 to add a travel insurance plan to your vacation booking.

If you purchased a travel insurance plan:

  • For information regarding your travel insurance plan including your plan number, please reference the confirmation email sent by Travel Guard.
  • If you have questions, please contact Travel Guard’s World Travel Service Center at 1-800-533-4305.
  • If you have made any modifications to your vacation booking, please contact Travel Guard at 1-800-533-4305 to ensure your travel insurance plan reflects the modifications to your vacation booking. Getaways by Southwest® cannot refund your travel insurance.
  • If you have canceled your entire vacation booking you may be eligible for a premium refund from Travel Guard. You are solely responsible for requesting a premium refund from Travel Guard by calling 1-800-533-4305 or by going to Travel Guard Cancellation Request. Getaways by Southwest® cannot refund your travel insurance plan.

Coverage available to residents of U.S. states and the District of Columbia only. This plan provides insurance coverage that only applies during the covered trip. Similar travel insurance coverage, offered by Travel Guard or another insurance provider, may be available through a variety of other sources, but may be subject to different terms and conditions (i.e. benefits, limits, exclusions, etc.). You may wish to compare the terms and conditions of this policy with those of your existing life, health, home and automobile insurance policies, as well as any other coverage which you may already have or is available to you, including through other insurers, as a member of an organization, or through your credit card program(s).
