During irregular operations, Customers and bags occasionally become separated. You may need to refresh the page to see the latest information.
When tracking your bag, you’ll be able to see when it’s being loaded onto the plane and then unloaded. You can also see it being unloaded and loaded if you have a connecting flight.
If you don’t see that your bag was loaded/unloaded from the plane, that doesn’t necessarily mean your bag did not make it on the flight with you. Once you arrive at your destination, follow the signs to baggage claim. For Customers traveling on itineraries involving a partner airline, baggage tracking information is only available for the Southwest-operated flights on your itinerary.
If your bag does not arrive with you, please make a delayed baggage report in person to the Baggage Service Office (located in the baggage claim area or at the ticket counter). Signage is also available outside our Baggage Service Offices with a QR code you can scan to make a report. If you've already left the airport and your bag is delayed, please create a report online. For domestic itineraries, delay reports must be created not later than four (4) hours after either: (a) Arrival of the flight on which the loss or delay is alleged to have occurred, or; (b) Receipt of the Baggage, whichever is applicable to the claim. For international itineraries, the report must be created not later than seven (7) calendar days.
