How will I know if I'm eligible to use TSA PreCheck or TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID when I arrive to the airport?

Day of TravelTSA PreCheck

Travelers who are eligible will be able to find the TSA PRE or the TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID indicator on their boarding pass. The applicable indicator will appear on your boarding pass, regardless of whether PreCheck lanes are available at your departure airport(s).

Children 12 years and younger are allowed through TSA PreCheck lanes (but not through TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID lanes) when traveling with eligible Passengers who have TSA PreCheck (parent or guardian). Children 13-17 may join enrolled adults in the dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes lanes when traveling on the same reservation and if the TSA PreCheck indicator appears on the child’s boarding pass. Eligible Passengers may only use the TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID lanes if they are 18 years and older.

The TSA PreCheck® or TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID indicator must appear on your mobile boarding pass to enter the applicable dedicated lane.
