Checked baggage fees apply. See details about our baggage fees.
Check your bags digitally (and pay standard bag fees as applicable) after you check in for your flight beginning 24 hours before scheduled departure, or use our self-tagging kiosks (where available) to check your bags with ease and pay applicable fees at the airport. While most Customers are eligible to use a self-service kiosk, you may also check bags at the airport ticket counter with a Southwest® Agent. If you choose to check your bag at the airport and your bags are subject to additional fees due to weight or size, you must pay for any fees with a physical credit card—we do not accept tap to pay/contactless pay/mobile payments.
You can also track your bags digitally. Learn more about how long before your flight you can check bags.
