Flight credits and Transferable Flight Credits™ created on or before May 27, 2025 do not expire. Flight credits and Transferable Flight Credits™ created from reservations booked and ticketed and/or voluntarily changed on or after May 28, 2025 and all vacation travel credits (from Getaways by Southwest™ bookings) have a specified expiration date. All travel must be completed by the expiration date.
If your flight credit, Transferable Flight Credit, or vacation travel credit is from a significantly disrupted flight, it may take up to 48 hours for our system to reflect the accurate expiration date. Flight credits from disrupted Basic fares may take up to 48 hours to display in your account or be accessible from the Check Travel Funds page.
To view your available flight credits or Transferable Flight Credits associated with your Rapid Rewards® account, log in to your account, and select “My Account” from the menu options at the top of the page (for desktop) or scroll down to “My Travel Funds” at the bottom of the page (for mobile and the Southwest® app). Next, select “Payment” from the menu options within your account. Any available flight credits or Transferable Flight Credits associated with your name and account number should be listed along with their corresponding expiration dates.
