If you did not cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes before your flight’s original scheduled departure time, what happens next depends on the type of fare you purchased:
Choice Extra or Choice Preferred fare
- Funds will be refunded as a Transferable Flight Credit™. Transferable Flight Credits™ have a set expiration date, and all travel must be completed on or before the expiration date.
Basic or Choice fare
- The funds will be forfeited.
For reward travel reservations (booked with Rapid Rewards® points):
Choice Extra or Choice Preferred fare
- The points used for booking will be redeposited to the purchaser's Rapid Rewards account.
- Any taxes and fees will be converted into a Transferable Flight Credit, which has a specified expiration date. All travel must be completed on or before the expiration date.
Basic or Choice fare
- The points used for booking, along with any associated taxes and fees, will be forfeited.
