Most fueled camping or lawn equipment is not permitted in checked or carryon baggage. However, there are a few exceptions:
Flammable Liquid-Fueled Equipment (white fuel, gasoline, diesel)
Allowed in checked or carryon baggage only if:
- The item is brand new
- It is unused
- It remains in the original manufacturer’s packaging
Not allowed if there’s any sign of use.
Flammable compressed Gas-Fueled Equipment (propane/butane)
Allowed in checked or carryon baggage (including stove burner and/or lantern filament) only if:
- No fuel cylinders are included (even if they are empty)
