1Milestone Rewards: Eligible Rapid Rewards® Members who achieve a Milestone may select from available Milestone Rewards depending on the applicable Milestone level. Benefit selections are final. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements, expiration dates, usage restrictions, and additional terms and conditions. Visit Milestone Rewards for complete details.
2Seat certificates T&Cs: Each seat certificate is good for one-time use and may only be redeemed by the Member for that Member’s travel on a one-way Southwest Airlines® flight. In the case of a direct flight consisting of multiple segments with no plane change, a single seat certificate will cover the Member’s entire direct flight (e.g., Member’s itinerary contains a stop on the way to their destination). For a connecting flight consisting of multiple segments, a single seat certificate will cover one segment. Seat certificates are non-transferable and must be redeemed through the standalone seat purchase flow, not during the flight booking flow. A seat certificate may be redeemed for the specified seat type or lower regardless of the prevailing price (i.e. an Extra Legroom seat certificate can be used for an Extra Legroom, Preferred, or Standard seat). A seat certificate may not be applied toward any other seat type of higher value. If a seat certificate is applied towards a lower seat type, the Member will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or other compensation for the difference in value between the seat types. Travel must be completed on or before the seat certificate’s expiration date, which is available on the Member’s Rapid Rewards® account. Multiple seat certificates may be used on the same reservation (e.g., two seat certificates). Seat certificates are refundable if the Member chooses not to fly or modifies their reservation; however, once a seat certificate is redeemed, the seat certificate cannot be canceled. Members may change from one seat to another of the same type or lesser on the same flight through the seat change flow. If a Member voluntarily changes or cancels their reservation containing a seat certificate, the seat certificate will be refunded and a replacement seat certificate will be issued to the Member. If the Member changes their fare on the reservation or purchases a seat with dollars, the seat certificate will be refunded. If Southwest® causes a flight disruption and a seat of the same type is unavailable, or if the Member chooses not to travel and cancels their reservation, the seat certificate will be refunded. If Southwest cancels the flight and the Member chooses not to travel and cancels their reservation, the seat certificate will be refunded. If the Member no shows (i.e., does not cancel the reservation at least 10 minutes prior to original scheduled departure), the seat certificate will be forfeited and will not be eligible for a refund. Seat certificates are not valid on Group Travel bookings. Seat certificates may not be sold, bartered, or otherwise exchanged, and any seat certificate obtained or used in violation of these terms will be void.
3Redeem points for seat selection: Rapid Rewards® Members may redeem points for available eligible seat selections on Southwest Airlines®-operated flights after booking and ticketing and prior to check-in. Available seat types and the number of points required vary by flight and are subject to change until the seat selection is completed. Points may not be used to purchase seat selections at the airport, including at kiosks or the gate. The Member must have sufficient points in their Rapid Rewards account at the time of redemption, and points will be deducted when the seat selection is confirmed. Seat selections are subject to availability. Southwest® reserves the right to change, reassign, suspend, modify, or discontinue seat selections or this benefit at any time for operational, safety, security, or other business reasons. Seat selections purchased with points are non-transferable and valid only for the flight for which they were purchased. Points redeemed for a seat selection will be refunded to the Member's Rapid Rewards account if the associated flight is canceled or changed. If a Member changes to a different seat selection, the points used for the original seat selection will be refunded and the applicable point price for the new seat selection will be charged. Seat selections canceled without a corresponding flight change or cancellation are non-refundable. Only one form of payment and one Rapid Rewards account may be used per seat selection transaction. Points may not be combined with another form of payment in the same transaction. This benefit is not available on Southwest-operated flights that are part of an interline itinerary. Rapid Rewards terms and conditions apply.
