You can make a one-time transfer of a Transferable Flight Credit from one Rapid Rewards® Member to another Rapid Rewards Member.  

Log in to your account. For desktop, select “My Account” from the menu options at the top of the page. Scroll down to “My Flight Credits” (desktop or mobile) or “My Travel Funds” (the Southwest® app). Any available Transferable Flight Credits™ associated with your name and account number should be listed.

Click Transfer to someone else while reviewing your Transferable Flight Credit™ and provide the information requested to complete the transfer.

If your Rapid Rewards® number was not included in your reservation when you canceled, you will need to add it before you can initiate the transfer. Pull up the Transferable Flight Credit™ via Check Travel Funds and click the link to add to your Rapid Rewards account.

To transfer any vacation travel credits associated with a Getaways by Southwest™ reservation, you must contact Getaways by Southwest™.

Keep in mind that Transferable Flight Credits™ and vacation travel credits can only be transferred once. Transferable Flight Credits™ created from reservations booked and ticketed and/or voluntarily changed on or after May 28, 2025 and all vacation travel credits have a specified expiration date.
