If you already have your boarding pass and are not checking bags, you may go directly to the security checkpoint. If you still need a boarding pass or must check bags, visit a self‑service kiosk where available. Some kiosk features may be unavailable for Customers traveling on itineraries involving a partner airline.
At the kiosk, you can retrieve your reservation using any of the following methods:
- Enter your confirmation number (six-character alpha-numeric code)
- Enter your Rapid Rewards® number
- Scan your mobile boarding pass
- Scan your passport
- Swipe a major credit card with your name on it
Once you retrieve your reservation, follow the steps on the screen to obtain a boarding pass. You can also use the kiosk to add your Rapid Rewards account number or Known Traveler Number to your reservation, upgrade to a Choice Extra fare, check bags, pay bag fees, review your seat assignment, or access a QR code linking you to a page where you can change your seat assignment.
While most Customers are eligible to use a self-service kiosk, Unaccompanied Minors and Customers traveling on Group reservations must check in at the Southwest® ticket counter.
Choice Extra, Choice Preferred, A-List, and A-List Preferred Members may use our Priority and Express lanes.
