Passengers may not transport marijuana on Southwest flights. Although Southwest is aware of various state laws that allow recreational or medical marijuana possession, TSA has stated that because possession of marijuana, even medical marijuana, is in most cases, illegal under federal law, they are required to report any suspected violations of law by Passengers to law enforcement authorities.
