Rapid Rewards Members can earn Rapid Rewards points, tier qualifying points and flight segments, and Companion Pass qualifying points and flight segments on the Southwest Airlines®-operated portion of a partner reservation. Points are not awarded for any partner-operated flight segments.
Before you travel, make sure your Rapid Rewards account number is added to your reservation.
Once the Southwest Airlines-operated segment of your itinerary is flown, you will earn Rapid Rewards points, tier qualifying points, and Companion Pass qualifying points as follows:
- 1-1000 miles flown: 500 Points
- 1001-1800 miles flown: 1,000 Points
- 1801+ miles flown: 1,500 Points
Distances are determined solely by Southwest Airlines in its full and absolute discretion.
Please allow up to seven (7) days after completing each Southwest Airlines segment for points to post to your account.
If you did not add your Rapid Rewards account number to a partner reservation prior to travel, you may request Rapid Rewards points for travel completed in the last 12 months by contacting us.
Note: Companion Passes® may not be used on partner itineraries.
