Non-refundable Ticket Refund Request

Refunds to the original form of payment for non-refundable fares will be considered under the following circumstances:

  • You purchased an extra seat as a Customer of size or a Customer with a disability
  • Military orders prevented you from traveling
  • Death of an immediate family member, travel companion, or Passenger
  • You canceled your reservation as a result of a Southwest-initiated flight cancellation, significant schedule revision, or significant flight delay. For GDS bookings/tickets, Ticket Agents should review waiver code instructions for refunds related to service interruptions.

If you believe you qualify for a refund due to one of the above reasons, please fill out the form below. You may need to provide documentation to support your request.

If you bought a refundable fare and cancel your refundable ticket in accordance with our no-show policy, you can choose to receive a method-of payment refund or a Transferable Flight Credit™. You’ll be able to select your choice during the cancellation process.

Getaways by Southwest Customers: Requests for full or partial refunds of your vacation booking should not be submitted through this form. See details about submitting refund requests related to vacation bookings.

Note: You must connect to our Inflight Internet in order to submit an email while inflight. Learn more about connecting to Inflight Internet. Alternatively, you may contact us after you’ve reached your destination.
