I'm getting an error when scanning my documents.
This can occur if any of the following are true:
- The middle name on the document doesn’t match your account
- A preferred name was used instead of the legal first name
- The name was misspelled
- The document’s formatting doesn’t match the booking information
- The document used belongs to a different passenger
Documentation is required for some account or reservation updates. If you are traveling within the next few days, you’ll need to bring appropriate documentation (e.g., marriage license/certificate, divorce decree, old and new government-issued ID) to the airport and speak with a Customer Service Agent. If you aren’t traveling soon, please complete the appropriate form below and attach the required documentation as described on the form.

Gender updates
- To update your gender in your Rapid Rewards account, log in and access your profile.
- To update your gender in an existing reservation, call us.
I don't see the TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID indicator on my boarding pass.
- Be sure you’ve successfully opted in to the program. TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID may not be available on flights booked before you opted in to the program.
- Your Rapid Rewards® number must be associated with your reservation, and the name in your account must match that in your reservation.
