The following forms of payment are accepted toward airfare at all ticketing locations:

• Credit cards: We accept American Express^®, Optima, MasterCard^®, Visa^®, Carte Blanche^®, Diners Club^®, Discover Card^®, Access^®, Japan Credit Bureau^®, China Union Pay^®, and Air Travel Card^®.
• Flight credit and Transferable Flight Credit™: We accept flight credit and Transferable Flight Credit for Passenger travel, excluding Southwest Airlines^® group tickets and Getaways by Southwest™ vacation packages.
• Southwest^® gift cards: We accept Southwest gift cards for airfare, excluding Southwest Airlines^® group tickets and Getaways by Southwest™ vacation packages. Both the 16-digit card number and four-digit security code are needed. Please see the complete Southwest gift card Terms and Conditions for use.
• Southwest LUV Vouchers^®: You can use Southwest LUV Vouchers for airfare purchased through Southwest®, excluding Southwest Airlines® group travel and Getaways by Southwest™ vacation packages. The purchaser must have a Southwest LUV Voucher number and associated security code. Southwest LUV Vouchers must be redeemed and all travel completed by the expiration date indicated. Southwest LUV Vouchers cannot be applied toward government-imposed charges or fees.

The following forms of payment are accepted for air travel via Southwest.com®, SWABIZ.com, SouthwestGetaways.com, and the Southwest® mobile apps: PayPal, Apple Pay, and Flex Pay (formerly known as Uplift Pay Monthly).

Cash is accepted only at airport ticket counters in our international locations.

You can use up to three forms of payment per Passenger per reservation, with the following limitations:

• Only one credit card can be used per reservation.
• You cannot apply more than two Southwest LUV Vouchers^® per Passenger per reservation.
• PayPal, Apple Pay, and Flex Pay cannot be combined with funds from another credit card.

Getaways by Southwest™

• Up to 11 forms of payment can be used when purchasing a Getaways by Southwest vacation package.
• Up to three credit cards can be used per Getaways by Southwest vacation booking.
• PayPal, Apple Pay, and Flex Pay cannot be combined with funds from another credit card.
• Customers with Flex Pay questions should contact Upgrade Customer Support via either customercare@upgrade.com or (844) 257-5400.

The following forms of payment are not accepted for Getaways by Southwest™ vacation packages:

• Flight credit and Transferable Flight Credit™
• Rapid Rewards® points
• Cash + Points
• Southwest® gift cards
• Southwest LUV Vouchers®
